GENERAL INFORMATION
West of Oslo near an area called Bygdoy, the tranquil setting of a quaint residential neighbourhood dotted with mansions and embassies is home to a magnificent 19th century building. Residence Kristinelund is close to Oslo's city centre and situated near Bygdoy Alle, which is one of Norway’s most famous streets.
Set amid flowering grounds the hotel provides an oasis in a quiet corner of Oslo. During spring, the chestnut trees are in full bloom and the scent of white and purple lilac trees drift over the property.
Most rooms have high ceilings, stark white walls, and period pieces. Light filled and spacious, some rooms have beautiful French doors that open out onto spacious balconies that overlook the pleasant garden courtyard.
Follow Bygdoy Alle to Thomas Heftyes Plass to relax amongst numerous cafes and shops. This noble mansion built in 1912 is beautifully located with a view over Bygdoy Alle. The residence is just a short walk from Vigeland Park, one of Oslo’s highlights and close to the beautiful and quiet Frogner Park.
